Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Candiru’s for my girls for Christmas, found them at a good Memorial Day price, and a SAK for my my oldest daughter’s upcoming birthday.

Crescent Tool Co. ball bearing D2 flipper. Aluminum scales w/steel liners, easy smooth flipper, 100% lockup.
Just got it Friday. Quite impressed with overall quality. ca. 3.5 oz. Black wash blade, (will probably polish off later).
Edge was a bit toothy for me so spent some time with my diamond hones and then 400 to 1500 grit emory on paint paddles.
Now slices phone book paper like it was water - really good edge for thick blade (about 2X that of a 91mm SAK). Pocket clip.
I'm very pleased with the knife; as good or better than fancy name brands costing several times more ($20). Got it off big book store; but also
listed on companies website. Choose carefully as they have several other models in 5Cr... IMHO a good choice for heavy duty work knife.

FYI: Yes, made for Crescent Tools, of Crescent wrench fame.

I love it so much I bought a second one to have as a spare (left one is new). This knife has been getting abused lately around the house and it’s held up wonderfully. It’s kicked my Izula out of my pocket lately and that’s saying a lot for me. That’s the fourth knife to be delivered in as many days, time to slow down a bit 😂
