Everyone's latest acquisitions!

The 781 Anthem has arrived, and it's a beauty!
The action is drop-shut smooth, and it'll scare the hair right off our forearm!!
Now the question becomes, "Do I safe it: or wear it?"
Oh! One more observation. I was concerned when I saw that they use the titanium body as the blade stop. (no stop pin)
But it locks up tight and right, and shows no wear at all!

Nothing too exciting, but I've got flytanium copper scale on the way for the CRKT Squid — wanted to have a small knife with copper scales and this seemed one of the cheaper ways to do it.

This is the first Opinel I've had; I quite liked their aesthetics and they're cheap so why not? Out of the box it needed some sharpening, particularly the tip. I removed some steel from the rear tip of the blade since that protrudes near the ring when closed, and was quite sharp. I might do the same for the last cm or two of the blade itself, since that's near the ring when open. The mechanism is quite stiff so twisting the ring in those two cases meant a high chance of a finger hitting those sharp edges. Added some oil and that helped a little, but primarily seems the ring is slightly too tight.
