I finally got around to getting a Terava Jaakaripuukko 110 from Finland, with 80CrV2 carbon steel and designed by Stefan Melander. It's a premium budget fixed blade that comes with a much better leather sheath than you'd expect for the price. Ordering it from a Finnish outfitter, meant I took the opportunity to order some add-on European military surplus that you wouldn't be likely to trip over on this side of the Pond.

Nice. I think you'll be pretty impressed with what that knife is capable of.

And yes - there are plenty of other awesome things available from that Finnish outfitter that you may as well throw in the cart while yer at it. 😉

The Terava Jaakaripuukko 110 has a solid feel of strength to it that you don't expect for a knife of that price, let alone ones twice the price.

It took a lot of restraint to limit myself to grabbing just a few add-on purchases. As you say, they have a lot of cool stuff and I'll definitely be circling back to order from them again.

Just arrived - my knife collecting journey is now complete.

Vehement Knives: Wasp (Full custom, not a standard model, to the best of my knowledge only two exist). 7" Satin "Tigerlypse" finish CPM154 blade, nickel silver guard, bone paper micarta over red liners with mosaic pins. Sheath by Skinbender, black leather with red thread to match the knife liners.
