I finally got around to getting a Terava Jaakaripuukko 110 from Finland, with 80CrV2 carbon steel and designed by Stefan Melander. It's a premium budget fixed blade that comes with a much better leather sheath than you'd expect for the price. Ordering it from a Finnish outfitter, meant I took the opportunity to order some add-on European military surplus that you wouldn't be likely to trip over on this side of the Pond.

I picked up one of those as well. I put some skiff ceramic bearings in it and it’s a thing of beauty to fidget with. One of my favorite knives.UPS Just Dropped It Off, It's My First Giant Mouse Ace Grand, The Action Is Sweet___![]()

The Terava Jaakaripuukko 110 has a solid feel of strength to it that you don't expect for a knife of that price, let alone ones twice the price.Nice. I think you'll be pretty impressed with what that knife is capable of.
And yes - there are plenty of other awesome things available from that Finnish outfitter that you may as well throw in the cart while yer at it.![]()
