Everyone's latest acquisitions!

You scored a Johnny on the Spot 😍, I saw that some members of the porch weren’t overly excited about that one, but it’s the first GEC that caught my attention in a long time. Congrats on the additions to your collection!

Thank you, my friend. This is one I had, HAD (all caps!!!) to have. I think the textured plastic scales fit the atmosphere of this knife perfectly. It's something you'd give a kid to put in his pocket before kicking him out the door on a bright Saturday in early Autumn so he can go adventuring in the woods behind your house, you know? I love it dearly.

My thoughts exactly. It has a style a lot of us can relate to.

One of my always wanted grails And number two arrival 👍🏻👊🏻
MKT Praetorian T Aqua blue water ripple DLT Exclusive. It did not disappoint smooth as silk out of the box. Feels amazing it’s a beast but operates with the accuracy of a Rolex watch 😁
Omg it’s nice !! The detail and craftsmanship is amazing and I’ve had a lot of knives over my years and this particular one is right up there with best and that says a lot .

Mid-'90s Koji Hara - ATS-34 - Micarta - Tapered Tang. Only match I could find online was on the J. Bruce Voyles auction site which called it a "custom hunter" (yeah, right...)...Lot #181 of their Dec. 2020 auction...but I'd call it a Bird & Trout knife, or -for me- the new steak knife. :D

Is that DLT’s engraving service(s)? It’s crooked. I’d be pissed if they did that to one of my Hinderers - I almost had them engrave one of them.

Naw it’s all good if you close one eye it’s straight ;)
Thanks for the insight though :) it will be a user and not a safe queen.
Most importantly the Medford is a perfect example 👍🏻👊🏻

Just broke one rules of only buying knives I could use all the time, not that I do just, what i tell myself.
Well today I just received a Rockstead RYO-H 518 i picked up here, and it looks amazing in person, not the easiest to photograph since it so reflective and since the handle is prismatic it always changing color. Here is the image I just took outside in the shade it is reflecting the color of the sky and here is a an image from the previous owner shot inside. Final note this came as one of the sharpest knives I have ever received. Thrilled to own it but have a feeling it will sit most of the time.Rockstead RYO-H 518 LT.jpgRockstead Ryo 3.jpg

How you liking the mini? I’ve been thinking about getting one for such a long time, but the regular Bugout is small to me!
Oh it’s definitely a mini. 😂
I have no problem using the thumb stud to open it but it requires a bit of fidgeting around in my hand to get to the lock and then swing the blade closed. No issues with the knife tho, no grittiness, locks up tight, the blade is centered, even grinds and all that. For whatever reason, and despite my extra large hands, I’m drawn to small folders. If that’s not your thing you’re probably gonna want to pass on this one. lol
