Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Sold a few knives over the past couple of weeks... sadly one was my bugout 535-4...

snagged this.

I've been away and vacationing and thus remiss in posting my additions, which is about 8-9 of them. I'll start with these four first:

My new SAK SwissChamp for car carry and camping - I'm returning the Benchmade Weekender as not practical or versatile enough, although it felt nice in the hand:

My SAK Tinker - this may replace the heavier Boy Scout all steel SAK that I have been carrying opposite to my larger folding knives for years - needed something smaller.

My pair of Demko AD 20.5 flat carbon fiber scale knives in CPM-3V steel (clip point and sheep foot - not calling it a sharks foot). Includes a comparison with the size of my Benchmade Shootout that I was carrying today, and vs my fingers. Caution, don't try the "reverse flick open" with a new unfamiliar unbroken-in knife!

So, I have a thing for the Benchmade Griptilian and Mini Griptilian in different variations. Last week all I had in the full size was the black scales and blade with partial serrated tanto in 154CM, and the desert sand scales with black plain edge S30V blade (I'll have to dig them out for pictures sometime). I also have 5-6 different Mini Griptilians, including the Ritter Hogue Mini Griptilian with carbon fiber scales that I posted previously...

Now I've added 5 more. I have a very modified full-sized one coming in this following week that I'll post when it arrives. Some of the combos I bought have been discontinued for now, or they are very hard to find - especially those with tanto blades. I love the way these flick open and closed so quick and easily, plus they feel good in the hand and in the pocket. One of those Griptilians is maybe going to go to my future son-in-law (or an Urban Jack Knife).

The color is off a little as I had to make the images brighter on my iPhone, since my halogen overhead bulb has burned out and the store didn't have replacements.

Those are cool! I never heard of one before until seeing your pics and then googling them.

Picked up a 2nd hand Kershaw Wildcat Ridge folder. This was made in Japan, unlike the made in China one I had previously and sold.
Needed a good scrub and reprofile of the edge (was about 25deg on one side, 30deg on the other). No blade play and it's back in action, shaving sharp.

And with the Buck 186 for comparison, certainly more belly on the Kershaw Wildcat Ridge.

Very excited to open the mail today. Stumbled upon a photo of a Paramilitary 2 Tanto last week, and after finding out they were a limited run for BladeHQ I made it a mission to find one. Saw several obscenely priced copies on eBay, ended up springing for the uncoated copy from the one reasonably priced auction, and found the DLC coated version on an other site. For $220. A steal. Both NIB and flawless. Now I have to cough up a small fortune on a set of Zirconium (for the DLC) and Ti scales for the uncoated. Already have some Lynch deep carry clips enroute. Very psyched.

(that's just a fleck of paper on the top scale)

I've been a Microtech guy for the last couple of years since moving to a free state, but I carried a Para2 for a little more then a decade. So I have a place in my heart for them. And if ever necessary, in someone else's as well... JK of course.

Can I call dibs when you go to sell these someday? :p

Also, my newest addition before another round of knives shows up this week…

My first taste of GEC. Anyone know anything about these? A friend included them in a trade we made.

Beautiful knives and I believe the one on the left is #14 in black ebony covers. On the right is a Ancient Barlow #77 in saw cut bone which came from the factory with the worn used look.
Both beautiful and wonderful knives congratulations!
