Hello,

As I've said in prior "Latest Acquisitions" posts: "When it rains, it pours."

Just purchased and received 2 knives that I've been looking for for YEARS. They are the smaller Kershaw 1029 (Field & Stream) and the larger Kershaw 1031 (Camp & Stream) filet style knives from the Hattori designed "hunter series" first produced in the late 1970's.

I just need one more to complete the collection -- the Kershaw 1032 (Skinner). There actually is one currently available but it's over-priced and not in good enough condition for me to be willing to overpay for it. So, I'll just keep looking for that one.

There are 2 other non-hunter Hattori designed Kershaws that I own. They are the Kershaw 1002 (Special Agent) and the Kershaw 1007 (Trooper) that I've shared in other pictures posted previously

Here is what my current collection of the Hattori designed knives from the Kershaw "hunter series" looks like:

From top to bottom they are the:

Kershaw 1035 (Heavy Field Knife)
Kershaw 1034 (Field Knife)
Kershaw 1031 (Camp & Stream)
Kershaw 1030 (Camp & Field)
Kershaw 1029 (Camp & Stream)
Kershaw 1050 (Field Folder)

These were among the 1st knives that Kershaw sold commercially and I consider them the most attractive knives that Kershaw ever made in the past 45 years (or so) of the company's existence, which is why I have collected them.
Got dang those things are sexy. I've always loved those designs.

The stag and blade are fine for a $59 knife. The pivot needs some use. The spring seems fine, blade is dead center and pull is about a 4-5. This is carbon so should develop a patina. Definitely needs an edge.
Someone asked about A. Wright and Son on guardian of lambsfoot thread. They wanted to know if they are still open. Article said company was not it's former self and quality control has suffered. Wait time is 4 weeks ordering directly from them. I bought this on All About Pocket Knives.
There are other companies making this style blade now. I am having one made in England now.( Michael May ). I did a lambsfoot for sale search.
Hope this helped.
It absolutely helps, thanks for your thoughts! Yea I see quite a few A. Wright and Sons over there on the Porch. They have quite a few cool designs. Alright cool, I may have to try one one of these days, thank you.

Looking to get a Carothers Performance super duty field knife. That looks sweet. Love my behemother.

A couple of Italian knives, designed by a couple of my favourite Danish knife makers. The MKM Maniago Root is a slipjoint with a titanium handle, with a Santos mahogany wood insert, a Bohler M390 sheepsfoot blade, and is designed by Jens Anso. The MKM Maniago Isonzo has a FRN handle, with a hawkbill blade made from Bohler N690, and is designed by Jesper Voxnaes.
