Tops Mini Scandi just in 2 days ago. Picked it up at the local knife shop when I dropped off some for sharpening and my David Mary for longer tight lanyards on sheath and handle. My lanyards are always tied too loose and I only know the Reeve Snake Knot...

It’s been an interesting week. Picked up a LNIB PJ Inkosi drop point S45, which is excellent, and later found the same knife but with a Tanto from KnifeJoy KnifeJoy so I snatched it up too. THEN, I found this... Something I’ve been looking for, for a long time. A long time… A perfect, as new Socom Delta. I’m so psyched. But to give the CRK it’s deserved props, here they both are.

This one, even though brand new, is going in to get glass blasted and to have the silly blue studs replaced with silver.

This one, is never going to see the light of day… I will just hold it, love it, tell it how pretty it is, and other stuff ;-)

A late arrival from the Black Friday Sale (got the wrong key for post office box, so it sat sulking a few days before it got sorted out). The Spyderco Caribbean is one of those special knives that's been on The List for a while now. It has a 3.7" sheepsfoot blade made out of LC200N (nitrogen and chromium-rich alloy), bronze washers, a compression lock, and a cool G10 patterned handle. As a guy with larger hands, the ergonomics on this knife are great and unlike H1 steel the LC200N can hold an edge for EDC use. I like the way Spyderco design knives to actually cut things and in particular Sal Glesser is a knife designer who makes it hard not to buy more of his works (his son designs some great stuff too).

For those of you wondering when I am going to stop posting a new knife every day for weeks on end, I may run out soon.

But I have 5 new pre-orders coming between January and May 2023 (including Winterblade, Kunwu, David Mary Knives, and Urban EDC), and I still have 12 here or on the way that I have not posted yet. I can't post them as fast as I acquire them. That tells the lizard part of my brain that maybe I should slow down...
