Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I posted my new traditional in the other threads. I got this Buck Knife Spitfire 122 that is going to probably stay in my car, after I gave away the Elk River knife that was in there to a nephew-in-law for Christmas.

While it's 1/3 - 1/2 the cost of a Delica 4, it's maybe 1/4 as good. But it's beefy and cheap and I wont worry about beating on it. The lock is stiffer than the Spyderco, and more difficult to operate, and the blade is much slower to deploy and can only come out as a slow roll with the thumb due to the friction of the heavier lockbar.

Also got a Bestechman Dundee liner lock, and it's a great buy for under $35, fitting right in with other bargains/bangforthebuck like QSP Penguin or Civivi Baklash or Mini Praxis. It's not as beefy or ergonomic as the Buck Spitfire, but it would be a much better EDC with light weight, quick deployment, and drop shut action.

Another addition was the Giantmouse ACE Jutland with green micarta and LynchNW Ti deep carry clip installed. I forgot I ordered this one, until it showed up. It's a great knife overall, and I like it just as much as my pair of ACE Grand.

The action is great, and it flicks open really fast with the flipper, thumb, or reverse-flick with middle finger, and the blade quite sharp. It feels really good in the hand as well. highly Recommend the Jutland and Grand from Giantmouse.

The overall size is almost the same as my Benchmade Shootout OTF.

The last new knife that I want to share today is, drum roll....

...Chris Reeve Mnandi in S45VN and Macassar Ebony Scales. The wood is actually a little darker than the pictures show, as I had to adjust the lighting which was too dark. I got this one, and a some Hinderer from MonkeyEdge, and I'll post more later.

This will rotate with my Benchmade Tengu Flipper as my gentlemen's knife. I was surprised at how small and dainty it feels compared to my Small Inkosi and Small Sebenza 31 knives. Those are pretty meaty and sturdy, but this is quite light-weight and could easily tuck away in a shirt pocket or the watch pocket in a pair of jeans. It's maybe the handle/blade length of a Benchmade mini Griptilian, but not as tall and maybe half the weight I'm guessing. One handed opening is easier than on a Spyderco Dragonfly which are too short to get the right grip to flip open one handed easily.

The Chaparral was an inevitable purchase but the Dragonfly was going to be for my wife or one of my kids... not so sure now
