I had to tighten the sheath a little to make it snap in stronger and made a small loop so it will hang properly when worn

This past week I've been warming up to my Manix 2 XL and just yesterday I was thinking it'd be cool have an upgraded steel variant. Today this was made available and I said YES PLEASE!

Picked up a couple new autos - Kershaw Livewire and Launch 15.

I'm relatively new to OTFs, but the Livewire has somewhat different feel to others I have (or have handled)... more on the elegant side than tactical. I've had the Livewire with me every day since it showed up and like it quite a lot. It has a thinner and slicier blade than the others... somewhat reminiscent of the ZT 0707, which was also a great slicer. The slide is a little bit lighter, but definitely not loose or giving the impression it could be accidentally opened.

The Launch 15 is my first knife in Magnacut... It seems to be all the rage, so I thought I'd give it a try. (I'll swap it out with the Livewire one day, but for now, it's just been sitting, patiently waiting.) The micarta inlays on the Launch 15 look and feel great. With the Federalist and Launch 15 sporting it now, I can only hope they incorporate it into more new designs. The lack of visible hardware on the presentation side gives the Launch 15 a really clean look. I'd even be fine if they didn't put the pocket clip holes on that side (sorry lefties!), just to have that front scale be pristine. I will get this one into the rotation... one day...
