Sold my spear point Recon 1 a few years ago and regretted it so I picked another one up. Since Cold Steel was sold a few years ago they’ve changed the G10 from the clip point one I own that’s 4 years old. Doesn’t seem to be as aggressive on the newer model. I also have an OD green one in the mail. It’s a sickness.

Hey I wanted to mention Cold Steel mellowed out their G10 before they were sold, at least in their Recon 1 line. I have a Tanto from 5 years ago that I call the pocket destroyer, and I also have the knife you posted above. I purchased it about 6 months before CS was acquired by GSM. From what I remember, it was in response to customer feedback over the years about the grain being too coarse.

Wow, I just googled “green manix 2 20CV” to see where they had them. Incredible price for what you get… I’m pretty sure the “regular” version is more $$$. Really cool knife, I should check out “KJ” more often

grip is good (during fishing when it came in contact with water). Will find out if it holds, when i field dress a game in the fall.

Finally picked up one of cardman ’s custom hatchet’s. Went with a smooth finished blued one. Very nice craftsmanship and sharp! Very nice leather blade cover for it as well.

After not buying anything for a couple months, I picked up ZT 350 with the tiger strip blade and a ZT 0562. Both are going to the factory for resharpening and check up.

I got the Thug XL (first WE knife), then the Hoback Kwaiback button lock made by WE.
Both are great.
