Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Had the knife a month or two now but just got these g10 scales today and threw them on after work. 100 percent improvement in rigidity and I think the blue is a bit more vivid than the flimsy original plastic ones. Added a little weight but in the right place, that is rearward so the knife feels more balanced and still comes in at 2.622oz. These also removed the slight vertical play I had. There's zero play in any direction now. I was sort of ho hum about the knife, now I love it.

This Native fell out of my mailbox 📬 yesterday afternoon. It's second hand but except for the wear on the clip you'd never know it. Solid with positive lock up - no wiggle movement of the blade what so ever. Geez!!! Gotta get off this Native kick. I've got two more coming.

The lock up interface in the Natives are amazing, I think u can unscrew the the pivot screw completly and still have a solid lock up.

In Brazil we have an urban combat team, "BOPE" (Special Operations Battalion), considered one of the best in the world. Here they are called "Skulls", because wherever they go they leave their trail of death, (remembering that most of the fights are carried out inside favelas in Rio de Janeiro, with highly dangerous drug dealers, so nothing more fair).
Training course lasting 4 months, only for Police officers, where only 1/3 of those enrolled manage to graduate.
Having said this summary, I present to you an exclusive knife for BOPE students, however the person enrolled in the course did not graduate and the knife ended up in my hands.
Built by renowned Brazilian knifemaker Ricardo Villar.

Paulo Thiago (former UFC fighter) was on that team wasn’t he? Very amazing officers to be in those spaces- truly a different world than most can imagine.

Okay, so I promised a plethora of knives, and I have most of the new arrivals photographed for your viewing pleasure.

I can post the remaining 6-7 knives not shown here over the weekend, or maybe after the last one arrives Monday. That's not counting 12 preorders with unknown future ship dates.
