Everyone's latest acquisitions!

BUCK 220 Day here.
A pair of 110s showed up.
One with Stag horn scales, and the other with Mammoth bone. The Stag has a Thumbstud on it, and I'm finding that interesting.
But the Mammoth 110 might just become an EDC for me. Those scales are like butter!! 🤩20231030_183106.jpg20231030_183236.jpg20231030_183151.jpg

These new Victorinox knives showed up earlier in the week, didn't have a chance to snap pics until today. These are the continuation of two of my subline collections, the Winter Magic series, and the Chinese Zodiac series. Both are numbered limited editions, and am glad to have them:

A new addition to the family! The Battle Horse Battlelore has a 4.625" blade, with a scandi grind and made from O1 high carbon steel that arrived with a screaming sharp edge on it. The blade thickness of 0.125" is a lot less than the average bushcraft brick-knife, which suits me just fine. It's a Dan Coppins design, based on the Ray Mears Woodlore Knife by Alan Wood. I also picked up some new sharpening stones (Fallkniven DC4 and King 1200).

Due to extenuating circumstances, I was forced to take a swing at this Fastball (arr-arr-arr) as a birthday present to myself, three CRK’s acquired last month for that specific purpose notwithstanding. Anyhoo … this is a pretty nice little piece that ought to help the Gerber brand rebuild its image. F&F is very good; action is snappy, smooth and easy right out of the box, needing no tweaking at all; zero blade wobble when open, nicely centered when closed; not a bad looker, my favorite blade shape, and it’s very comfy in the hand. Gerber done good on this one. Def gonna get some carry time.
