All the drop practice paid off at DLT this morning, scored one of a dozen Vehement Knives custom K2s. Sellout was probably 11-12 seconds. There will be a big batch of midtech versions, but Jason and Matt primed the pump with a dozen customs ahead of the midtech release. Was very torn about which one to chase, but a nine-second checkout time scored this hand-rubbed, tapered tang K2 with gloss natural micarta scales over red liners with mosaic pins. There's nothing quite like Matt's customs. Custom leather by his wife, Jenna, of Skinbender Leatherworks.

A big VK autumn for me, I also won some unspecified non-knife thing that Matt is making in a charity raffle, and it sounds like my custom book order is in process this week as well.
