Gerber Diesel!

Added a awesome Herucus Blomerus LL15 to my collection... the action is INCREDIBLE!

Very pretty. Apparently the blade flats are pretty reflective too--it looked at a glance like part of the blade was missing near the pivot . . .

Haha, you're so right on both counts! The flats are polished to almost mirror... I had heard amazing things about the "perfect" detent on this model of Herucus's knives. I have to say, the hype was justified, it's as good as I have ever experienced and I own some pretty high end flippers and that includes my Thorburns... speaking of, my 3 South African knives together:

Hi all,

Well, the luck of the Irish was with me (on St. Patrick's Day) as I scored this at one of my favorite "Thrift Shops" here in Maine. Made in the U.S.A. by DEXTER.

Carbon Steel (Chinese style) Cleaver. Cost me an entire two dollars! As new/Pristine condition. So far, I've only cut a large White Onion using this (to me) unique Knife.

I'm liking it a lot!

HARDBALL

Been a while since I got a new knife. Picked up this little doozer, CRKT Pilar. Nice budget piece, love the blade shape.

Went on a blade spree last week and I'm still pumped!!
Wanted to check one of these bad boys out for quite some time!
Very cool knife! Had no idea it had a chisel grind, and it is screaming sharp!!
Pivot was tight. Loosened it up a tad and it is one hell of a flipper! Can open with the blade stops also!

Sweet... :)

I love the oddball SAKs and couldn't pass up the deal on this one, MSRP was $299 when they came out, quickly discontinued because of smartphones it was a well built MP3 and an interesting concept that was too little too late :)

That SAK is too cool. The hunt begins haha.

I have had the 452s for a couple of weeks but just got the 450 from a guy who anodized it green with bronze edges. He also acid washed the blade, clip and hardware. The action on the 450 is better than the 452s but that could be due to size. Wasn't sure if I would like it- I may order another in a few months for a back up. Great little knife.
