Wanted a light weight folder for when wearing light weight pants, shorts and joggers which all have plenty of stretch for freedom of movement which I wear most of the time rarely ever wear jeans or heavy corded pants anymore. This will take care of the simple EDC stuff without dragging the pocket down and for those times when wearing jeans or something else with a 5th pocket it will make a great 5th pocket carry too.

AD15 and FF stinger came in today (used) . I also got the copper scales today and installed them. I had titanium on previously. The copper adds some heft. I also swapped the stainless button for a brass one.

I gave the FF to my son, it came with the AD15. All nice knives and I'm happy with them. 20240202_194540_copy_1081x1442.jpg
It's been awhile since I've picked anything up. I have so many knives I find myself holding back on new ones unless they're different or are on my want list for a considerable amount of time.

This is my January haul. I didn't intend it this way, it all just sort of fell into place... 😳 Major kudos go out to knifemakertday knifemakertday who sold me the Shiro, which was a grail knife for me. It's also my first Shiro and I get the hype now. The Axon is one I've wanted for ages but is quite underwhelming. The end cut carbon fiber on it is pretty terrible and has a very dull,, seemingly micro-milled striated finish that is not consistent between the two scales and prevents the carbon fiber from really shining. The action also just doesn't blow me away. Pretty let down by that one and will probably move it along. I don't think replacement scales will make me change my mind on it. The Voodoo and the Cedar are both ideal knives for me and total keepers. Working with Nicolas on the Cedar was a fun and pleasant experience. And the MBK OG is my second because it's just an all around great knife and this one maintains its solid reputation.
