Well maybe it’s a good time to stop armchair parenting here when you have the perfect opportunity to “un-sissify” your kinfolk.

A good leader doesn’t talk about examples, they lead by them.

That doesn’t mean you can’t influence him.
You used similar words in a previous post here so I don’t see why you don’t try with him.

Lead by example instead of talk about it is what I meant.

I had a great deal of influence with him before he was 10. He's 16 now and I don't even try to influence him about anything. My wife doesn't want the poor boy to cut himself cutting a roll in half, and that's only the beginning of the pandering. I only get in trouble when I voice my issues. So, I don't bother anymore. He knows where I'm at and is at our house about 4 nights a week on average. I just hope he makes enough money when he gets older to pay other people to do everything for him because unless he changes, that will be his only option.
