The Lottery! Plans going forward and the Foundation we already have. The offerings from the Ranch, SteelFlame expansion of accessories, Shows coming up, Surprises down the road..... Good stuff.

In ALL of our day to day lives - these are the days that try Mens Character and - NO Surprise to any of Us Here.
Not a Problem for the Team at "the Ranch."

When you exude Character and Integrity - Tough times are like when the power goes out everywhere but..... you have a well/septic and a Generator. ... What Crisis?

As the stresses of daily life continue to plod along.... Lets ALL continue to Enjoy the Hobby.

We can enjoy a new acquisition in the form of a knife, a scale, a pen, an accessory, etc. Check out the website as well as Outdoor Tactical and the sponsor link. Hang out here and shoot the breeze.

Bottom Line- Life is not getting easier, in fact it is getting harder so..... to have a place to come and unwind, a Hobby and People you can count on to lighten your load -vs- the opposite is a great blessing.
IF you can get to a Show OR a GTG or Hang out Here - Life will be a little bit more enjoyable IMO (If I am wrong, send me a PM and I will work out a repayment plan :)) I don't like to mislead.

So...... To Rick and Rob " Thank you for what you do" , To the core Members Here "Thank you for what you do" and to the new folks passing by " If you like what you see and it fits into your paradigm, please stay and enjoy"

Well put Rubi and great thread. It is very nice to have a place to come and unwind with like minded people with a common interest. Thank you Rick, Rob and the rest of the crew at the ranch. Also thank you for mixing it up lately and keeping things interesting for your loyal customers. I look forward to meeting you all at a knife show hopefully in the near future.

All kidding aside, in addition to the thank yous to the Ranch and fellow members, my thanks to the Mods here. I can only imagine.

As for lottery excitement....well I've got that "what if" feeling but I'm not "countin' my chickens" just yet. However I'm hopeful for a positive outcome.

As one of the "noobs", I fully appreciate the welcome and enjoyable place to hang out. The products offered are second to NONE. I've had the opportunity to chat with some great people and have learned a lot.

Wholeheartedly second this! I truly appreciate feeling welcomed and enjoy "hanging out" here, I look forward to being able to contribute.

A big part of the draw, even never having met them in person, is I get the impression that RHK truly cares about not only their product but their customers as well. Makes me feel like part of a community instead of simply a customer/consumer.
 
Only met them briefly at Blade this year. Impressed by their patience and friendliness amid the chaos. Felt like too much of a noob to really talk knives with them. Maybe next year. Blade is so kewl and can't wait to go again. Said it a few times already, but feel blessed to be a part of the Hinderer community. Great group of people and a product that's quality is second to none.
 
i've been waiting for such a thread to pop-up to post something i've been wanting to say for a while now. However, i did not post it because i felt it was off topic and feared rubi's banhammer! (oh the irony).
I've been part of this forum(rhk) for about 8 months now, and there is something magical about this place. From the very first post here, I felt home. the regulars on this forum are amazing. kind, interesting, social etc... It's not just about the knives, it's really about the sense of community in this subforum.
also, I wanted to make use of this opportunity to express my awe towards the guys at the ranch. The last couple of weeks, I have litteraly been harrassing rob. it has happened that i shot him pm's almost every single day with trivial questions, questions that most manufacturers would not even bother to answer. yet rob always answered, he answered not after 10 days, but mostly on the day itself. it is an awesome awesome guy!
 
Sorry to be the party pooper but I'm almost finished with my master plan (insert evil laugh) the dungeon workshop is now complete and phase two begins -

Kidnap Rick & Rob and keep as my personal knife making slaves, that's right guys, they'll all be mine and the jay grind will be a reality.

Wow, this makes me feel better. I thought I was the only one. The thing that actually makes this even more amazing is he probably does this for way more people than we know of every day. :D

Good luck with that plan JT Rick and Rob live with possible opportunity to send some lead toward any unwanted evil catnapper who might attempt to breach their security! Nice hat on that cat by the way.
