Exciting Days at RickHindererKnives on BladeForums...

I haven't posted much here, but have always felt welcomed here. Great people and a ton of knowledge. I just found out about The Lottery yesterday and am most impressed that it was able to be done. I don't have a Hinderer yet (I stress yet), but I will have one someday. The show lotteries are probably the only way I could have ever gotten one, but that was looking gloomy due to travel expenses. Now that there is a chance to possibly get one here, it makes me happy. That a chance was given on this forum to purchase something that otherwise someone may have never gotten a chance at, is truly awesome. I look forward to meeting Rick and the others at Blade next year.

Welcome Dave... Is a good group and you are more than welcome to be as much a Member as anyone - having a Hinderer is not a prequisite although it is an understandable quest.

The BF Lottery opportunities are indeed an exciting addition to the dream.

Watch the Exchange, also. Although we don't discuss secondary market prices here, I'll just say it's a really good time to snag one there.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I have been checking on the exchange and barring any strange happenings I should be able to get me an XM as a Christmas gift.

Welcome around theses parts, Dave.

As for the kitty battle...photo from my bucket...

Love seeing a lot of the good guys from the Kershaw/ZT group over here. :) Lotta good people in that sub with no home now. Welcome to the greatest sub on all blade forums. Great group here.

Yeah it sucks about the subforum, but I completely understand the decision. Not to knock other subs, but I agree with you about this being the greatest. Lots of knowledgeable folk and seemingly no idiocy to deal with. Still trying to take it all in. Lots of info in the stickys and a ton of threads to read. It just seems logical to hang out here considering my favorite ZTs are the Hinderer collabs.

I've mentioned it many times over...the threads here are welcoming to most and even Hinderer collaborations can play in threads like the photo-theme one and so on...

The general area of BF is not my favorite; if any of the ZT/Kershaw collaboration peeps feel that way too, this is not a bad place to visit/contribute.

Sounds like a good place o be. :D

Sounds like a good place o be. :D

It is.

But is only as good as the contributors and Mods keep it...without these folks, all bets are off on what this forum could become.

Ok, I'm done with this. I don't want to start a ruckus that spins outta control if some misinterpret my words.

I welcome all, to join in here. And appreciate those that already do.

Couldn't say it better myself....thank you!!

+1 from me Rubi.

As one of the "noobs", I fully appreciate the welcome and enjoyable place to hang out. The products offered are second to NONE. I've had the opportunity to chat with some great people and have learned a lot.

I look forward to spending more time around here.

Got my first red infraction from this guy (Lesson learned:D). Good to see you in the Hinderer sub. :D

Me too! He's a bugger :D

But seriously, RD is a great Mod and Supporter of what we try and do here at RHK sub-forum - very much appreciated

Haha! Ive gotten a few of those myself. But that being said RevDevil is fair and consistant. I have emailed him with questions and he is always helpful and friendly. Great mod!

I'm mainly a lurker, largely because I'm new to the hobby and find my best course of action is to pipe down, listen and learn. That being said, my XM-18 is such a remarkable piece of craftsmanship that I've devoured most of the content on the sub forum.
It is a remarkably civil, informative and drama free forum.

Welcome!

And your last sentence is what I strive for in life (swap the word forum)...often elusive, but a goal all the same.
