What I meant was:

That, I had had enough none-sense "BS" from you,, AND, I WAS GOING TO TRY TO GO TO SLEEP AND TRY AND CATCH SOME.. ZZZZZ's .. After dealing with your, BS!.

The following 'sales thread' is what MK77 is referring too where HE WELSHED on his commitment.. If you are interested in his silly BS just go to the following Sales Thread and back up into where mk77 enters in and 'posts' his first post and then again after that, and again.

Changing your mind after saying the magic words "I'll take it"...Not cool:thumbdn::thumbdn:

Amazing knife Sunnyd, It's a shame you had to bring the price down that much, it looks like it's worth alot more. I hope you sell it soon and can put all this BS behind you.

Community Center is not the right spot for it
THIS is the right spot for it, arguing over an Exchange thread.

SunnyD is top notch all the way. You agreed to a deal and then backed out. If you say the little 3 words "I'll take it" pay like you have agreed to do.

Hey, people make mistakes. Many of us believe in Bladeforums protocol: the deal isn't a deal unless everyone is happy. You don't like my knife, send it back, here's your money, no hard feelings. This supposed to be fun.

If the buyer has second thoughts, better he realize it before the knife goes out, just to get returned, with all that expense and aggravation.

Only when the buyer backs out after making a big show of taking the knife, interferes with other people willing to buy it, drags out payment or shipping discussions, and THEN backs out -- and does this again and again -- THEN we see he isn't a reliable person.

But let's not over-interpret any one misunderstanding.

I am the seller. I did not start this thread, the x intended buyer, mk77 did. I had already moved on when he started this thread with no reference link. So I chimed in here in my original post and felt I should provide that original sales thread link, which I did. I now feel I should make a brief statement..

My mantra is and has always been, 'If both parties aren't pleased with the trade then the deal is no good'. This is a verifiable fact..

That is not what this is about. This is about a deception and not being upfront. If one reads the original sales thread in its entirety, I believe any reasonable person can see this.

I have sold, traded and have just plain gifted away well over 100 knives here to folks in this forum community in the past 6 years. My reputation regarding all my knife trades is flawless.

I am fine with a fellow or gal backing out of a trade anytime they wish. My point is and was with regard to this particular incident:

Have the stones and good character to just be upfront with the seller if you are a prospective buyer and be honest about it. Don't play deceptive games that waste the sellers time with statements that are dishonest and imply otherwise.

Thanks,
Anthony

sunnyd is as much as a first class BF seller as there can possibly be.
Purchased a few items from him....doesn't get any better then him, IMHO.

The way I figure it....anytime you commit to a purchase here and then back out of it---it just ain't cool!

sunnyd has the right to be quite annoyed.
And I look forward to doing busness with him in the future!

I would buy from sunnyd or sell to him with out question. I would let him date my sister. I would let him visit my aged mother to talk about financial planning without myself being present!!

'I'll take it"

Means: 'oh, that knife for sale, I did not mean I will buy it. I meant I'll take it's sale to my secret place where I sit and ponder the world and discuss the sale with my special friends testy and cal.

"I'll take it, I did not mean the knife!!! I was talking to my Mommy and she said that if I did not take those cod liver pills I could not nuzzle with her malamute tonite while watching Jumanji. Sorry for speaking thru my keyboard."

"I'll take it did not mean I definitely would buy the knife. I just wanted to make sure you could not sell it to anyone else until I scanned all of BFC to insure this was the best knife deal. I found a better deal so I UNTOOK it!!!

If you say I'll take it, then TAKE IT. If you did not mean to say I'll take it but somehow made a rushed call and meant to say "I'd love to take it, but with my financial situation the way it is I jumped the gun and should have not said I'll take it. Now, apologize often and loudly and make absolutely certain that it never happens again!!!

and if it does you might just earn a nomination on the PT list!!

Ladies & Gents,

I am obliged for all the posts here in basic agreement here of good common sense thinking, and Ren really had me rolling on the floor with his post! I needed a good belly-laugh :D too, so thanks for that.

Where to start.... I am sorry that my misworded communication, where i called the 3 'emails' i sent you, pm's. Emails that i have been told that you should have received. i really wish you could read them so i can explain that i have never bought online like this, where i can give you my address and phone number, in case we had to talk about the deal, which i was very much interested in. when i came home from work, checked and see some problems, so i post on the exchange forum saying i still wanted the knife and i attempt contact again(another email i called a pm, my fault). Also, i post on the service and support forum looking for some help as well. Now, does this seem like someone who wants to back out of a deal. Now some help from someone, who has experience in these things could have made this deal happen quite easily. Now, how would an unexperience online buyer feel, when they are looking for help, frustrated because they don't know what is wrong, and they get attitude thrown at them, publicly in a place where they choose to spend there time, where they stay respectful because that is how they would like to be treated.... they are probably not going to want to 'work' on that deal anymore.
Two other things "Do yourself a big favor and don't keep punctuating this fact on other sub-forums." almost has an or else sound too it. Lastly, comments like "nighty nighty sleep tightly'', belong to your own children.Otherwise either i could be an adult(or potential buyer)and be insulted, or i could be someone younger that is on this site in which case it could be construd as inappropriate. As i said before, good luck in your sale.

You had me until this

In the future do not enter any deals unless you are 100% certain that you want the item, can afford the item, have the funds available for the item and can pull the pin on the item NOW. This way there will be no reason to back out short of death, severe trauma, arrest or a weapon of mass destruction cutting loose on in your backyard.

Then you'll build a rep as a guy who says what he means, means what he says and never, ever backs out of dealsunless (see reasons cited above)

Every part of your statement here is once again deceptive regarding the facts and the truth and intended to garner sympathy for yourself and clearly NOT appologize for your dishonest behavior. In addition, you are apparently still bent on trying to sully my reputation.. This does not surprise me in the least as it is just a persistent continuance of your pathetic whining..

Fact is, you sent me NO emails during the day or so I patiently waited for them. Although I sent you several letting you know how to make payment..

And anyone who has been at BladeForums.com for over 3 years and has been an active user, certainly knows the differnce between Private Messages and emails for goodness sake.. Furthermore, in every single one of my sales threads, after I ask folks to post, 'I'll take it'. I then in the very same sentence ask, 'Kindly email me through the BF.com system to make payment arrangements. Which you NEVER did!. And then made it worse by posting on the sales thread with, 'Hey, I've got money in my hand, whats going on'.. Or some such..

I just found the thread you started over in S&S. If other folks care to see it(below).. You at this point, ask the mod if you, "have to be a paying member to send emails". But not PM's, which was supposed to be your problem here.. I believe it is obvious to a reasonable person that reads this S&S thread of yours in the link below, and that has read the original sales thread, and now this thread of yours we are in, that this little not so clever maneuver is meant to confuse in order to deceive and make the issue more convoluted...

You are not a reputable person. And then made it worse for yourself by starting other threads to try and cover it up. All you had to do was back out of the deal like a man or woman(I honestly still do not know which since I don't know your name?) with good character and honestly with a quick email. That would have been fine. Its happened to me before with never a problem. Never any hard feelings between myself or the prospective buyer.. But NO you thought you would choose another deceptive route..

Lastly, and as I previously stated in an earlier post of mine, I am done with you. Please let us both move on!

Thanks,
Anthony
