No excuses. Here are some reasons for different purchases.
Black Case Peanut: right after I bought my car, wanted a console knife that matched in color. It gets a decent amount of use.
Black Alox Pioneer: also car center console. Also gets carried when I realize I walked out of the house w/o a knife.
Opinel No. 8: always liked the ones my grandfather brought back from France.
15 Barlow: good day at poker.
LB-1: found lightly used one super cheap in a knife shop, great on key ring.
Other reasons for different buys: it's on sale, tax refund, have rewards points to burn, can always sell it and not lose money, watched too many youtube videos, didn't drive all this way to go home empty-handed. Omitting a few others that would point directly to non-trad knives.
