I know there are a lot of people who will never agree or like JB. I'd like to offer up my experiences with him. I sent him a polite email about his products and when he replied, he was very polite. In fact, when I ordered a $125 dollar knife, from him, he dropped the price to $85 without me asking. He also is sending me an extra blade because i didn't like the original. That's not all; when I saw that later his website was out of stock in the knife I wanted I asked when it'd be back. He said he already had set one aside for me. This was, by far, the best customer service I've ever experienced.

The knife wont compete with a BM42... but It's (for me at least) 1/5 the cost. With several online reviews calling it a good knife for the money, seems like a no brainer for a poor college student beginner flipper like myself.

It's in the Bradley kimura price range. I've seen enough well illustrated bad press to steer away, personally, but I am glad you're enjoying yours.

No one posting there neither owned an FU42 nor handled one.

Please read the first link. Several people bought handled and assessed the FU42 to be nothing more than a sows ear made into a sows rear.
Nothing but a cheap china balisong that you can buy for far less elsewhere.

Despite whether or not it was worth the money, I received excellent customer service beyond what I would have expected after reading the forums.

New user with 7 of 11 posts in here praising a fraud. Seems mighty suspect.

The knife you got is a blatent copy of the BM42 and shamelessly relabeled from what was more than likely a CCC. You could have picked up a Kimura or a Bear balisong with money to leftover for what you paid.

I've owned a bear, didn't care for the pins. The purpose of this post was to share my personal experience with JB, not the knife itself.

You know how it is when you make a big mistake and know it...you go out of your way to convince yourself that you made a great choice/decision, not matter how much proof there is otherwise.

And folks are here trying to share what is well known on the forum about him. You may have lucked out or just caught him on a good day. Follow Karda's 2nd link, down to post #8 and you can find plenty of reasons to avoid business with this fella.
