It isn't easy to see what you have there. Can you explain a couple of your most bizarre cartridges. That would be interesting. What's that white one at the top, right corner. Thanks :)

do the green ones have nuts? . . . I can't have nuts . . .

Wonka was in the ammo business, but produced those
under the name Slugworth.

I don't see it there but my favorite is the one from a cartoon. The bullet is fired but stops in front of the BG, the front of the bullet opens, and a fist punches the BG in the nose !!!

Ahhhh yes.......the only ammo approved by the UN!:D
Of course the fist MUST BE gloved!!

The visual I got with that was good enough to make me snort loudly like Chrissy from 3's Company. :D

You've got quite a collection there. You should make a website... something like bulletcollector.com.

Seriously, you should.

my girlfriend was standing over my shoulder when I was looking at the photo. I asked her what she thought, and she said it reminded her of a lipstick display at the local CVS.

Where's the Hellboy special with the holywater, wolfsbane, garlic. silver shavings, etc.? :p ;) :D

i wish there was a list of make/mdel/etc - thats a pretty neat collection.

Exactly. I would love to see a website where you could click on one and go to a detailed page about that specific round.

Forget specific info, i want to know where you can buy them, a box at a time:D I personally prefer the ones with Mercury fulminate packed into the tip.

The 4th row down 9th round over has F M in it... the round right below that has lead azide with Diazodinitrophenol for a initiating charge if that more to your taste:D

White tipped round to the far right top row is a THUNDER ZAP a all plastic bullet designed to blow a large 3 inch dia hole and destroy about 2 inches deep of flesh.

The "screw head" is a full profile 45acp safestop designed by Jim Cirillo for head shots etc...

How about 4 up & 3 over from the bottom left hand corner? This is a ALPHA a kevlar defeating round built for police us goverment use its a steel cruciform in a nylon sabot

Green teflon coated KTW rounds do have nuts sorry

No punching fist but their is a round that opens up with 4 spinning cutting blades it was called the omnishock and is the 5th round over 2nd row from the top.

Great collection, but I think it's pretty funny that someone feels the need to make special "head shot" .45s. How many people do you think live long enough to fight back after being shot in the head with a .45, no matter what the bullet? Also, do you have to reload if you can't see the guy's head?

There is much myth to head shots. It isn't a sure thing and many have survived head shots with rifle or pistol. The rounded skull deflects shots .In addition the head is often moving more than the body ....Jim Cirillo, whom I've met, shot it out with 17 BGs at various times and won every time !!! I don't think too many of those involved head shots. He was in the NYPD Stake out squad. Another NYPD notable , Serpico, was shot in the head and survived .That bullet went into the jaw bone IIRC...When you need it --Shoot early and shoot often.
