hey guys:
So I was browsing on 1911forums a while ago and came across the name Matt Cucchiara that someone had their knife re-shaped and sharpened, so I contacted Matt and asked if he would do some touch up work on my Emerson CQC-7B and reshape it into a v-grind. Allow me to put it this way, it was an experience of dreams from the initial contact to the final result. SO I sent in my Mini-commander to sharpen. He made the factory job look pale by comparison!!!
Just today I was browsing here and it occurred to me that Matt is a heck of a custom maker. And guess what? He was easy to deal with, very quick, and acted as if he was just like you and me. had I not been here, I would never have guessed his "other" specialty9such as making knives).
What's my point? Matt treated a little sharpening job very propmtly and with great care, on the side of his other tasks. i look forward to know more and see if I can afford his knives.....
