Experience with pops

My experience in the past was that Pop's was typically very competitive on the ridiculously expensive belts that many of use use. I think that Jim was the guy who actually turned me on to a line of finer grit Hermes belts that actually didn't work (or not work) like a cheap Hermes belts even though they were still very affordable.

yep ,he is even a couple bucks cheaper on the good ceramic belts over most others..

I've used Pop's and just about everyone else (Jantz, USA Knifemaker, Super Grit, Knife Kits, Texas Knife, etc...) and have had great service with all. I will say that USA Knifemaker can be a little slow on shipping at times but I have gotten quality products from all and will use them all again. I will say that Pop's web page is not the easiest to navigate but its not too bad. I have not used Alpha yet but plan on giving them a try soon. Their web page is a little different as well but I hear nothing but stellar reviews about them and their products.
