• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Extra...Extra...."Man makes knives".....

A perfect example of media bias, if you ask me! What a puff piece!!:D

Very nice. congrats!

Very nice article ,never even saying a knife is evil ! And a good photo too !

Well deserved recognition is just that, bro... well deserved!

We need to get you properly exploited -- and that doesn't involve nude pictures (thank God!). I have a plan for a little website renovation, and a proposition for you (again, no nudity:barf: ). I'll try and call you later.

Congrats on the publicity, bro! It really is well deserved. You're a great smith and you have a big heart.

congrats on the media write-up, Mace!

Always nice to see a positive piece.

Excellent! Glad to hear you found a good reporter who didn't just turn you into a metal mashing maniac cranking out evil death machetes for the trenchcoat mafia. :D

Congrats!

That's great! That was a good article and you represented the craft well. Congrats!

Thanks guys!
I'm stoked. After the Journeyman smith article in Knives Illustrated and this one it's made for a great start of the new year.:D
I am very pleased about the way the article came out. I was a bit cautious (after that whole Licata thing last year)....and even said to the reporter...half joking..."..this isn't going to be a Man Deals DEATH out of shed in the woods kind of thing....Right?" He said....."hmmm, I didn't think of that angle". But he and the Photographer were both very nice. They put four pics in the paper! Two of me forging...one of 3 knives....and one of the bar heating in the forge.
I gotta go get that bigger hat now.
Thanks again
Mace

One of the guys at work gave me the clipping from the New Haven Register and asked me If I new you:confused: I told him
