Here are 3 really nice buckeye burl blocks with excellent figure and contrasting colors. The photos tell you more about these blocks than I could.
These blocks have been stabilized with Resinol 90C using a Dry Vacuum Pressure Impregnation system. They have been heat cured for maximum durability.
The photos show the wood lightly misted with water so you can get an idea how it will look finished. With burl there may be small voids or bark pockets that may require a dab of epoxy if they are not trimmed away when shaping your handle.
