I can think of many, many things I'd rather have hanging on my wall but fair play to ya man :D
 
from my experiences backpacking australia, most aussies are pretty easy going people. that being said, there are some pretty crazy ones there, like when i was in kings cross in sydney :D

all i can say is either cut your losses and move on, or give it to him and destroy his balls or call the cops :)

also, tone down the racial comments eh? not all arab people are bad people (from my experience). race doesnt neccessarily cause bad people.

the issue is you are angry with the guy who sold you the knife and you wanted to voice your opinion here without getting banned for it (which you have accomplished).

people have given you suggestions/advice as to how to proceed. perhaps its either time to pursue some of those suggestions or move on,

either way this thread should die out....

I moved this discussion from General Knife Discussion to FEEDBACK, where complaints about dealers belong.

Please do not talk about problems on another forum here. Their problems are none of our business and we do not want to encourage cross-forum flaming.

I understand why you are upset with a deal gone bad, but we also don't need to hear talk bordering on illegal behavior. Calm down and seriously consider bringing your complaint to your local police.

I'm calm.

I can fix it all with a bit of wet and dry, linseed oil, maybe some lanolin.

Might write it off to experience. Legal issues are never fun for anyone.

I'm not trying to be racist, but 80% of Lebanese teens near where I live are very rude and cause lots of trouble, but a lot of the adults are very kind.

Castrating him won't do you any good, talk to the police and get some legal advice.
 
Do we even know he was Lebanese? He's working with a Russian company that I believe is headquartered in Daghestan, a largely Muslim part of the Russian Federation. Arabic names there would be common among non-Arab peoples. Frankly, his behavior sounded as Russian as anything else to me, but no ethnic group has a monopoly on crude, aggressive behavior.
 
He's on multicultural councils in Australia as a Dari/Persian speaker suggesting perhaps Iranian.

Maybe he is from Dagestan. He looked and sounded Arab though. I know Russian people and they don't have accents like that. Maybe he is Persian/Iranian/Aryan and not an Arab.

Either way he is a lowlife.

This seems to be the trend everywhere with ALL teens, although my neighbors and their kids are good people.

+1 for contacting the police. If someone (non-friend) was in my house and I did not invite them, I would be very suspicious at the least.

I was shipped the wrong knives. I was also shipped damaged knives. The knives were not in their original packaging. I was given false warranty cards.

When one of my knives was exchanged (wrong item delivered), at my front door, by Zobair Bary, claiming to be boss of Australian distribution, it was in the plastic still. He sanded the leather handle of the knife, and defaced the incorrect sheath that he provided with the knife. He also placed the knife at my stomach for some bizarre reason. I just looked at him like the fool he is. After that, he jumped over my balcony and ran to his car.

On another note, when I was upstairs, getting the knife for exchange, returning downstairs I caught him in my house. He ran out the door quick as a flash.

Did he unwrap it and deface it right in front of you?
Because you say he "placed it at your stomach afterwards." Then he leaps over the balcony and runs to his car.
If somebody came to my house and did all that while I watched to a knife I was buying, I think I'd go inside and return with a pistol as the guy sounds insanely mad and the least of my worries would be the knife.
 
Yes all this happened. Truthfully.

He also asked me if I go hunting. I told him not anymore, just for people these days. That prompted his hasty retreat.

We don't have the gun laws you do in America.

Was the picture with him and the guns taken inside your home?
Because it looks like if it was you was pretty chummy with the bloke.
 
No that's not my house, but that's the Zobair Bary on the right.I am assuming that is a business partner of his with him, however I am unsure.

I wouldn't let anyone like that near firearms. Look at the lack of trigger discipline and fake hard man face.

He's a fool.

Look at the photo. You can notice outside via the window that it is light outside. Then notice the amount of light they are hit up with.

There must be some bright bulbs looking at him.

Some kind of moronic indoor photo shoot with firearms, fake hardman faces and poor discipline.

Looks about dark and pretty normal lighting to me and a picture of a guy and probably his son, with some firearms.

Look at the amount of light thrown. And the positioning of shadows. Those are bright lights.

Either way hardman faces with guns, inside, and poor trigger discipline is not cool.

Neither is this fool defacing my knives and refusing refunds and telling me to piss off over the phone, not to mention putting a knife at my stomach among other scallywag behaviour.
 
It's all true. Zobair Bary is a disgrace to the human race.

I mean, looking at his picture, indoors, with the firearms, should be enough to tell you what kind of twisted being this Zobair Bary is.

Is Zobair related to Keyser Söze, perchance? :confused:
