I've just had the longest headache of my life with Exxcess Quality Products, LLC (www.exxcess.info.) I've been surfing the net for a while for an affordable Benchmade Bali-Song model 42, and I was pleasantly surpriced when I found the above mentioned on-line shop. They were still selling BM42 with the "old" price, and the knife was the model with the 440C blade too, which I guess is harder to find nowadays.. I ordered the knife on May 25th and paid via PayPal. My credit card was naturally charged immediately.

Within a week a nasty suspicion popped in to my mind; I never received any kind of confirmation or notification of shipping, so I wrote a polite e-mail asking if the order had shipped -I never received an answer. I waited a week for the answer, and then wrote another e-mail asking if everything is ok with the order, and I sent the e-mail as a copy to the owners e-mail address as well, but this e-mail was never replied either.

All and all, I wrote several e-mails, none of them were ever answered. On 24th of June after informing them that I'd be taking action in order to get my money back they finally replied saying, that they don't know what happened with my order and I would receive a full refund the same day. I never got the refund. So I contacted my credit card company and issued a charge back.

I have to say, that I've been pretty lucky so far. I live in Finland and I have ordered several knives from the US. This was my first bad experience. I don't want anyone else getting an unnecessary headache from dealing with this company, so my advice is: never deal with Exxcess Quality Products, LLC.
