About knives that I own - the most special would be Candiru (just google that little fish). But it at least wouldn't be associated with violence.

But other names that I find standing out would be:
Counter terrorism knife
Taliban takedown
Hoodlum
Warcraft Tanto
RazorTek
Mayhem
Street scalpel
Bartender defender

IMO those are names that can be associated with either violence or just sound like something mall ninja...

What are in your opinions the names standing out?

I don't mind aggressive names on everyday knives... for self defense knives I'd prefer that they not name knives like that, because I could see that being used to swing a jury.

I've said it before, but the most questionable knife name to me is the Maxace Titanus... I get that they were trying to go mythological but they really didn't think through how that would sound out loud.

I may feel that a name might be overly aggressive , but that's marketing .

Not going to stop me from buying one I like otherwise .

It is all marketing.

Sometimes it can be positive connotations.
My wife bought me the Northwoods Burnside Jack back quite a few years ago.
It was the company name that drew me in: Northwoods.

Felt like it would be all adventurous, and mesh with my "Northern Freedom Spirit" or whatever. :)
Didn't help me conquer the outdoors all that much, but it is a nice knife.

And the Boker War Toad.
Reminded me of that Nintendo game, Battletoads.
Plus, I like toads.

So I bought it.
