F-16 Specs And Pricing. . . . PLUS An Amazing Discount & Nuclear Option Coming Wed. June 17, 2020

So to be clear, nuclear handle options would all be $150 value for $75? That includes materials such as black paper? $150? I’m not seeing it.

CF on this looks amazing. I don't need it, but I want it.

I need clarification! Is the nuclear meltdown perimeter rounding on all of them or only thru the nuclear option?

The higher cost isn't in the material, it's in the time spent gathering and machining.

There's such a huge mish-mash of handle materials that have been leftover from so many special runs over the past 40 years, that in many cases, we won't know what the material is until after it has been machined. Sometimes, we still don't know what some of it is even after machining!!! A lot of our expense with the "blind handle grab" is in the time we have to spend digging through "Handle Mountain" and trying to find 2 pieces of what we hope is the same material. We then have to cut each piece out by hand to the correct dimensions to fit the fixture. It is not unusual for us to run a "pair" of handles only to find that they are from different runs of the material and can't be sold as a "pair". In the end, if we can't find a match, we end up having to throw out both pieces.

Let's Drink!

Jerry Busse Jerry Busse it it possible to get a picture ak47 and f16 side by side?

If you (or anyone else, for that matter) have a Hog Nosed War Sword, this thing is about identical in lengths. My HNWS is exactly 16" from tip to the front edge of the scales. And tip to butt, it is 23". So right there at the same dimensions (except for blade width; definitely nowhere near the same in blade width).

Wasn't there a photo at one point of the tip of the blade, from the spine? I thought one of the photos in the teaser thread was described as that angle. I'd love to see a spine shot of the tip of this blade.

BOSSMAN, hello!

So, FABU discount does not apply to the Nuke option? Just a savings on "upgraded handle materials"...

That is the clarification I am interested in! Or both apply?

Thanks for the response if you have the time.

Anyone - how much does a Forsaken Mistress weigh? Nuke Option and Non-Nuke? I bought both and they were both beefy, Nuke noticeably lighter in hand by a bit...of all the things I have, I don't have a scale that weighs knives, just me!

The reason I am asking is to gauge weight distribution across the F-16...as compared to the Forsaken Mistress...

Many thanks to any and all who can provide guidance there!

C

I am pretty sure that FABU applies to the Nuke as well.
You can have Coated Nuke (minus 50) or Comp Finish Nuke (minus 70)!

And why should the Nuke be lighter?
All models have Nuclear Meltdown Treatment - the Nuclear Option is just a surprise handle, polished tubes and Custom Shop logo!

Weight was about 28 ounces. I think it was mentioned in the Sneak Peek thread.

I'm working from home and currently on a conference call. Every time someone asks a question, all I hear is "Nuclear Option or not".

I guess I'm not going to be very productive today...

That's what Geissele's Black Friday sale is for!
Haha it only takes several months to receive what you ordered. Then, they give you a coupon to use by 8/1 because everything is so delayed and then there are no parts releasing only complete rifles currently.
Kind of annoyed with G at the moment

I ordered a URGI upper and didn't get it until March, so I was one of the stragglers. No big deal on my end since it was for an extra build. But I definitely could understand people's frustrations of being charged the full amount months before the item shipped.
