Thanks jbib, anything you can add will help. Do you have any idea what material it is: steel, aluminum, other?

This is all I know: the S&U version is great. It's the show business version. This appears to be the go to work version, says the neophyte. I ordered one on general principles.

The F01 in gray with teal is pretty nice.

The Ka-Bar version might be good for use as a beater or even the one you hand over if someone asks to borrow a knife.

Anyone who owns one of the these, I would appreciate knowing whether or not the thumb stub is reversible. It looks pressed in so I’m guessing yes, but I’d like to know for sure. Official Kabar apparently has me on ignore, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The thumb stud is not reversible. If it is removed, it would not fit on the other side.

Dear Mr. Official Ka Bar. Now that kabar has made the Ford version of the FO1 could you inquire if they could repeat this success with a Chevy version of the OSF? MAN, would that be great!! (I have one but it lives a lonely life in the safe.). Thank you!

Maybe this could be changed in the future? Kind of a shame to make the clip reversible, but not the stud. Or just make it protrude from both sides.
