I was just thinking the same thing last night. Maybe he got pooped on for the first time and freaked out! The routine part was difficult for me at first, I had no choice but to take the overnight shift with my son and it was tough to get up three or four times a night and still be to work by 0630. But the wife did take 4 months off from work, so by the time she went back my son was sleeping 6-7 hours a night.

Yes it is a bit over whelming at first.My oldest will be 30 this year I was 15 when we had our first!Talk about freaked out babies having babies but we have been together every since and married 27 years this year.
 
Congrats on 27 years, Big. I really do admire that. Not enough of that goin on these days...

My parents are going on 37 years.

Oh don't worry Daniel, that feeling doesn't go away for a long time! Everytime I go in my garage I see my project bikes, my '66 VW, my boats in need of repair, it all sits waiting for me to not be tired and all caught up!

Hang in there bud! Just let me know if you want me to get some teak shipped out to you.

Hahaha I knew Dan was MIA for lack of sleep! Fortunately we have Hannah being fed at 9 pm, 1 am, 5 am. Ive been blessed this far, she is a little machine. Knock on wood! My first Daughter had RSV and she would sleep for 30 minutes at a time,and then need to be on a breathing machine every 4 hours, that was rough. Every squeak I would check on her. It gets easier Dan! Good luck brother!

Thanks X! I'm still trying to get caught up but am going to attempt some heat treating today. I'm going to be busy, lots of knives to heat treat and foil wrap. Teak sounds good, talk to you soon on that!

I need to check those emails! Sorry I have been long to respond, I'm behind on everything.

I'm trying to get some rest but I fell pretty hard on some ice a few days ago while carrying 10 gal of water to the shop and separated my shoulder, it is really hard to sleep especially since I usually sleep on that side. Wish me luck, I need to get healed up fast!

I'm just happy that Jade is doing great! We took her in to the Doctor yesterday and she had gained thirteen ounces so that was awesome!

I'm taking lots of ibuprofen to keep the swelling down... no fun. I hurt it every so often, I'm not sure if it was the buckets or the ice that did it. I have sand on the ice now and a lot of it has melted off! Early spring here soon, the snow in the woods is down to about a foot deep now. :D

Me too, Thanks! Jade is still doing great and seems to be changing every day, it has been a lot of fun!
 
I just came in from putting more knives in the ovens, I have two of them running at the moment!

I was up from early until late heat treating, I quenched the last knives of the batch at 8:30 pm.
 
Sweet.Daniel your knives are becoming so popular pretty soon you will have wait times of a year or more. Glad I got in when I did!! Ive drank the kool aid and know what your 5160 choppers can do.Wait till people see what I have you making me!!!!
 
Daniel, I am super excited to see my knife soon! I'll get you some handle material this week, I have Monday off so I can get some and send it out to you.
