Mornin' everyone! Back to work today. Great game in Foxboro yesterday. I need to get back up there again sometime soon. This time, perhaps with more wool!

Got a sweet Lancer mag for my AR15 yesterday. It's translucent and looks badass. I'm concerned, though! IT doesn't click into the magwell, and can just be pulled straight outta the gun. I gota figure out whatup with this.

Morning guys!

Hardly anything better to get you moving in the morning than a phone call from work..."Where are you?" Lol! I guess I looked at the wrong schedule and though I was in at 9. Oh well, they survived.

Bobby, was your bolt locked open? If not, lock it open first then try it. Those Lancer mags are usually pretty legit.

More rain today, we need it!

Everything was closed, X. I'll have to play with that a bit more when I get home. My other mags lock into the magwell regardless, so I was a bit confused, and a bit tired. Best not to play with guns while tired, so I put it away for the night.

Hope everyone's having a good day. It's crazy today at work and my patience for folk (clients and coworkers) is at an all time low!

Bobby, don't be afraid to slap that thing good and solid, it ain't gonna break. I'm assuming empty mag? If you feel comfortable, try a loaded mag too. Maybe pull the upper and try just the lower.

Still raining good here. Slow day at work makes it drag on...

Make it great fellas!

You were right!

Smacked it real good. Clicked. First time I had to be forceful, haha.

Yeah, some of those plastic mags need a good smack to seat them. One reason I like the stainless steel mags I have. And I'm limited to 10rd anyways, plus they don't make them for 6.8spcII.

I looked up that GSG. It looks pretty cool. Was the 22 LR the round it was originally developed with when the Germans used it for combat?

No, it was developed with the 7.92x33 kurz cartridge in mind, originally. the GSG designation is "German Sport Guns" - the replica company... StG-44 was the rifle's original designation.

Lots of them were still in use in the Czech republic up until the 70s...I have a one legged uncle who will tell you aaaaaalllll about it, if you let him. :/

Rolf and those crazy guns. Why not go for the SpZ. Half Sten MKII, half StG 44. Select fire like a Steyer (predating it too). Still get that funky 7.92x33 cartridge. Imo, the 7.62x39 is a much better round. The original 7.92x57 was a good round though considered too powerful for the average soldier in average engagements (became the "sniper round").

But, finding 7.92x33 might prove just as difficult as .22 in some areas these days...unless you're sitting on a stockpile Rolf?!

No CAD on the slippie yet Rolf, it is something I would really like to do but after my next few Framelocks and Bali. I have two new Framelock designs that are finalized and will happen soon.

14 hour day working yesterday and another big one today... bigtime! :D

You guys have a good one!

Morning y'all!

Daniel, I tried making a slipjoint to a drawing once, it didn't end up like the drawing. I ended up just fitting everything by hand as I went and changed the shape as well. I also made my own rise and fall indicator and assembly board for it too.

Make it great fellas!

Thanks guys but I'll stick with my Glock. :D
Thanks, Daniel. You keep knifeland interesting.

Yo yo yo!

Nothing like being stoked about getting off early on your Friday only to have the closing person call out. So, I now get to work a split shift... :/

Having a 4.5 hour lunch break is not all its cracked up to be.
