Fairly Knives - What's going on this month!

Criminy!! Think that 5160 is thick enough? :D As for your shop saw blade, I thought that ALL disco was somewhat abrasive. What is so special about your setup?;)

Very nice. I'm loving that acid washed tanto.
Thanks!

Very cool work!!!!
Much appreciated!

Awesome stuff as usual Daniel. Your combo grinds are insane man! I really like when you do them in high polish.

Thanks! The tantos will get a 2 tone finish with a high polished edge. :D

OMG, you heat-treated those choppers before grinding them?!?
You must really have a grudge against abrasives!

That rigging knife is SWEET!

-Daizee

You had me rolling on the abrasives comment! I decided to put all my money in belt stock, I figure I am bound to double my profit margins! Every belt on the wall is in the trash now but I have more coming in.

Thanks!

The rigging knife and the green harpoon one are NICE.
Thanks! I hope to have the rest finished in a week or so.

Disco Abrasivo!

Disco Abrasivo! I'll second that, or third it....wherever it's at right now. Great update Daniel! You are working like a dog these days.......and did I mention that I love dogs?! :D

Good stuff buddy!

LMAO! Thanks!

That harpoon grind is awesome looking. All look fantastic!
Thanks very much, that was the prototype and I hope to grind a few more next month.

Looking great, Daniel!

Yeah, that would be a great name for the unofficial ShopTalk band. I know we've got some musicians around here... and a drummer, too.

:p

I caught that! :D

Not true dude, I have roto toms! :p :D

Geeze Daniel, you keep taunting me by putting pics of my rigging knife up! I just can't wait to get my grubby paws on that thing and put it to work.

-Xander

The rigging knife has been epic to say the least and you have been the easiest customer to deal with ever. I owe you one to say the least! Just wait 'tll you see your tanto, it is cool!

dood- Yer BUSY. Don't burn out!
Oh no problem, I take the entire night off almost every night!

I'm just getting back into the swing of things after having our baby girl, I'm happy to be able to work more.

The name gives it away, I do an acid etch then a light tumble. 30 seconds in dilute ferric chloride solution and a 15 minute tumble. I finished to about 400 grit first.

Nice works..... Acid wash does look good ,might have to try that one. Cheers
Thanks!

Thanks! Even the biggest one feels quick in the hand.

I like the acid wash so much I'm already planning on a bigger tumbler.
