 I purchase two Cold Steel knives recently, no not on Ebay, and before I go after anyone I need your assistance:( I purchased what was advertised as two Carbon V knives one Trailmaster and one Recon Scout. Both came in Cold Steel boxes but I just do not know eneough about these knives are they authentic or Fake. Ive got an uneasy feeling

I don't know.
But some time ago I bought a trailmaster, and being suspicious I written an e-mail to CS sending pictures. After three days they answered me that my knife was a real CS.

Sorry about the B+Ws don't know why it did that

First two are from Scout the others from Trailmaster

I take it you did not buy from a dealer? You might try looking for a pic online of the C-5 series blades. The Carbon V stamp on the Recon looks unfamiliar but that's not to say that the stampings changed on later models.

If they feel unusually cheap then you may have a copy. CS sheaths aren't always the highest quality so that is not a good indicator. Also if you got a really "good" deal....

At first glance, they look fine.
