There has been a long existing trend in EBay for the sale of fake items being uncontrolled. I spotted this seller called allamericaninfidel selling an obviously fake Dark Ops folder and passing it off as the real thing. I emailed the dude and he confirmed that it is a real DOPs knife, just the liner lock version!
I contacted EBay to stop the sale (no avail) and in the end I contacted the buyer to warn the fella. Now the buyer is pursuing a Paypal dispute to get his money back.
Basically I'm warning everyone to not be fooled by beautiful pics, patriotic or trustworthy-type-names and cheap prices in EBay. It is sad that the seller also displays proudly the american flag on his china made trash!
(note the seller bought a fake DOPs knife from a chinese seller from china recently!)
