Fake Lincoln on the bay

I'm not 100 convinced that the wedgeway is that same axe linked ( it's still a fake ), but that B-R fake is definitely modified from that very axe linked.

It is not very hard to see it is the same head. He did not etch over Belknap maker's mark. He has just sanded it down. Take a look at the last ebay and second pic from auction house, choose very small area with random 3 pits and you will find coresponding ones on Patrone's fake

I couldn't identify any identical pits, but looking now I see that he etched it on the opposite side of the one he removed the original stamp from.
