Fake or Real Strider?

It's probably just me but I have trouble buying I found this in the basement of an old house.

I have never handled any Striders that old but that stamping does seem off. It does not seem as crisp as it should be.

I do not know if it is old or not. I am not into knifes. To me it is just a knife. I am deep into fishing. it'll be my one of the king Fake/Real Strider cut bait knife anyhow.

It’s 100% fake according to Strider Hardcore.

you should see on the breitling watch forums, evidently people find fake breitling replicas in their attics and basements all the time

The lock side on the cheap clones are steel not titanium.
Just test with a magnet. If the magnet sticks to the steel , then it's a fake.

It's fake. I seen one similar to this at an antique shop a few years back.

SOLVED!!!!! Without benefit of doubt, IT IS A FAKE!!!! Magnet does stick to to silver colored lock side of the knife!

It's a fake. Stampings and stop pins were the first thing that jumped out to me.

In that it was found in a basement of an old home, it makes sense it would be a fake. Someone would search their brains out for a real Strider before moving out.

Agree! I call fake, stop pins aren’t contacting the scales, and the hardware looks off.
