Fake Strider for $500???

Could have stopped at dhgate.....

Fake, fake, fake. Everything they sell...

It sold on eBay. Those links were posted to show where that knife most likely came from.
Surprises me that the buyer has to be a bit of a knife knut, and he STILL bought that thing??
Wow

Can't believe someone sniped it out from under me at the last second. :grumpy:

That one was a grail for sure. Know that.

WOW, it got sold for $760!!!!

Maybe I don't understand something about this life but eBay didn't do anything about the "fake" report and somebody did believe that this is a real custom Strider... OMG!

Could the winning bidder also be the seller under a different ebay name? generates previous sales records until one day they really screw someone out of $760.

I'm also curious about.......semi custom??? What the hell is that??
Don't do much with eBay, but there's no way I'm buying anything from anyone with 2 + feedbacks.

As for the lack of a blade steel marking this is not uncommon for Strider. They will confirm that most if their unmarked blades are S30V. There is not set rule on how or what they mark. I agree too that this was a fake

Easy to find that blade style on the usual counterfeit sites, but I can't find the exact copy, anywhere. Maybe the seller frankensteined it....

Do a search on YT for, Strider SMF knife China clone by Black Dragon.
You'll find a review of this exact 'knife', I use the term loosely, by LuvThemKnives.
Didn't watch the whole thing, but I'm pretty sure he paid ~ $100 for that piece of shit.
Hope this helps.

I can't believe somebody paid that much for that knife... that thing's all over the Internet as a fake and sells for WAY less elsewhere. talk about not doing your research... if I'm dropping that kind of Jack it's from one of the well-known legit dealers. Sheesh... PT Barnum was right.

It doesn't mean the seller actually got paid, just because it sold. I've seen people never pay after winning.

I was thinking the same thing. Multiple bidders could even be the seller. "Could all these people be wrong?"
