I stopped as a gas station on the way home last night intending to make a donation to the "can't do maths tax" and found out that one doesn't sell them.
walked back o the car and told SWMBO it was my sign that I wasn't supposed to buy one yet.
 
Freakin' windy here. 30mph, and I'm not sure what it's gusting to, but she's a windy one. Branches all over the yard, and one hit the Internet cable, and made it sag down quite a bit. Obviously, it didn't knock it out, so that's a good thing.
 
I had a close encounter at the zoo today with a cheetah and his canine brother...

Hogue had manufacturing down a long time ago, and nailed it when they made knives. great designs.

they basically redefined quality and standards in the OTF auto-matic amazeballs. i need to figure out how to get a couple for daily carry :D
 
space cadet weekend - had a cold earlier in the week, thought i beat it, it's back. kind of like a head cold now. zoom. whoosh. easily distracted.

so, when i got it in my head to do something with my daily user BK16... i couldn't find it. was in the garage, then began the hilarious all day while fevered quest :D

i eventually remembered that i put on some of those NICE Dan Eastman glow scales, and tarted it up with a super nice Diaz sheath, and was going to use the very eco friendly citrus strip on it. so naturally it was living over by the kitchen sink for a few weeks. which i completely failed to notice ;) lol.

well, i have it now ;) what i want to do, is thin the edge a little, make it more slicey. however, i've had mead, Norsemen on Netflix and a fever, so perhaps later ;)

lols - i think one of the knives on Norsemen was a Helle :D

Feel better. Nothing worse than a sickness that comes back with a vengeance right when you thought you beat it.
 
Good day yesterday. Not enough pics for its own post, so I’ll dump them here:













Landed 8, missed about the same. Was slaying them, till the wind picked up. My 4 weight rod didn’t have enough punch to combat the gusts. Awesome day nonetheless; probably my best fly fishing day in years.

Great Pics Aiki. I wish I was wetting a line with you for sure. I'm trying to catch up on my Honeydo list before Bird season starts.
