Family Fun in Moab!

I understand where you are coming from and trust me neither the kids nor my wife were in the jeep while I did anything dangerous at all. The friend I went with, who was leading our group also had his kids in with him. He has been going for more than 20 years and owns a company called Moab Outfitter, which should tell you he Jeeps a lot. Any time we got to anything even remotely dangerous his family and mine would get out and watch, then walk up to us and get back in.

Trust me when I say, I value my families life more than my own and would never do anything to cause them any harm. All of the pics you see with the kids in the jeep are very mellow areas and were just like a stroll in the park for my jeep.

Thanks for your concern but rest assured, I am not that crazy. :)

Edit to say: if you notice, there are no kids in the jeep in the fourth and fifth pic from the top.

Alright. I'm glad you take their safety seriously. I probably shouldn't have commented but the third picture looks pretty vertical and it concerned me. I'm sorry for the tone of my reply and it is great you're spending time with your kids and they seemed to be having a blast. I have no doubt you're a great father. My apologies for insinuating you weren't.

Welcome to the Jeep world, amigo! :D

Won't be long now till I'll be back out tooling around in my '06 Wrangler. Great vehicles for great country!

Nice looking family, too!

No apology necessary. Coming from a fellow parent I really do appreciate the concern, so don't worry about it at all. The third pic looks a little worse than it really is. My wife tends to angle the camera when she takes pics and though it was a downhill slope it wasn't as steep as some of the roads I've driven on in San Fransisco. :)

Thanks Robin! I have found that the Jeep community is very similar to the Busse community. Most people I have met are extremely friendly and excited about their jeep and have extended a very warm welcome. I've also experienced my fair share of the "jeep wave". When you're back up and at 'em maybe you'll see me on the trail in Moab.:D

Good stuff man, looks like fun! I actually live in Moab... we hear of Jeeps rolling all the time! Just be heads up and you'll be good!

I was flat out amazed how well these perform right off the show room floor. Saw one in action at a 4x4 "park" near me and it handle all levels including some parts of the obstacle course that I wouldn't have tackled with a quad. Very cool.

Glad you had a good time and you have a mighty fine looking family bro. Good for you.

Great pics Jared...and GREAT looking family:thumbup: Glad to finally know what your mug looks like!!
