Family portraits

Ok Jamie how about a roll call on whose knives they are, I think I see some Schrades and a Case or 2. If you wouldn't mind letting me know which ones are which... :)

I'll be happy to take a pic tomorrow with the mains open and some identification.

No Schrade, no Case... :D

Thanks Jamie, those are some gorgeous pearls. Great shots too, it's so hard to capture warmth of pearl, most over expose and you can't see the character in the scales. Jamie.

Just some of my Blacks

Man, something about those blackwoods with the cloud shield is really drawing me in lately, I was commenting in another thread on how handsome those #78's are. That #47 is a real looker too, I tend to prefer bare-ends.

Nice family there bucksforus, very jealous indeed!

Thanks, Charles. Some are a little rough around the edges but very finely crafted and the pearl steals the show. The Empire whittler has milled liners and is mint with an unbelievable blade polish, I swear it just glows. I have heard they used lead wheels to polish with then and it is very hard to duplicate the results today.

Thanks Bullion--I have more in Blackwood, and Ebony. I have recently have been drawn to the black wood knives.

There are lots of cool families on here, but nothing quite like this one - my daughter and me with her tiny toothpick (a gift from Primble) and my peanut - yellow is the new pink in our house!
