Finished this Fancy hunter recently and it turned out to be a really nice piece.

This one has a bit more character than my usual builds.

The amboyna burl has great natural figure, paired with a brass guard and a copper habaki that gives it a slightly classic look.

Feels solid in hand with a comfortable grip and a clean, balanced profile.

Glad you like it. That’s actually a really good suggestion — I hadn’t thought much about posting there without the pricing, but it makes sense. I’ll give it a try soon and see how people respond.

At the risk of being cliché, I'm pretty sure the only way to get good at making horizontally positioned sheaths, is to make a bunch. Once you're in the groove, it's just a matter of time until you'll be able to say, "Yup, I DO make them, and how many do you want?😏

Still figuring them out and refining the design, but I could definitely make one if there’s a request.
