fancy scales sale #1, vintage micarta, SOLD

Might need some sorcery to crack into the top spots

Yeah. Sacrifice a piece of micarta to the steel spirits. But they would probably have to contact the internet demons to place the wish and by then the knives would be long gone.

Congrats to those who scored :-) !!!!!

Anyone else get kicked by forum " unable to post, to few words " or something to that effect ? Who knew lol, tried just IN and it kicked me three times. Using phone now, I don't think my tower survived ! Lol only kidding but boy I thought about that old mako commercial, wanted to put a couple 45's in my computer !!! No more coffee for me today lol :):):)

Looks like I'm winding up finally getting some of that Sooke-designed cutting power :) I'll start a bonfire and pop the top off of a Hoyne with it over here in Squamish in your honor.

Sweet!
I used to work for Paul, (another Hoyne) at Lighthouse Brewery years ago. Washing kegs is a disgusting job, but having access to the beer fridge made it all worthwhile!

I believe you need at least five characters . . . won't accept posts less than that. So IN wouldn't work.

Hah, no doubt. The stench that spent kegs manage to develop is a little mindboggling, for sure.

Anyways, that Dark Matter stout that Hoyne brews is maybe the best beer in the whole world, IMHO, so you can count on me opening a lot of 'em with the spine of that EDC :)

On-topic re: the knives: is the EDC sheath with this batch similar to the one in the EDC-specific thread, with the inbuilt kydex vertical belt loop? Just wondering if it's modular or one-piece.

Also: Am I correct in assuming that Nathan/Jo will be in touch with the winning 6 directly to arrange payment/shipping?

Cheers,
T

LOL I have an atomic watch, and I'm still 18. This just aint going to work.

I watched the server time and my own computer's time across a few refreshes ahead of the sale, and determined that they're identical. Realistically, most computers are probably syncing off of the same timeservers (and/or different time servers synced to the same master reference), so your computer's clock is probably as good or better for this purpose compared to an atomic clock.

Really, I'd wager it boils down to latency between your latest refresh, and the time it takes for your response post to bounce across all of the servers between you and the bladeforums server. The more hops, and the more latency, the more delay relative to other posters. Which is to say, there's probably a LOT of luck involved. I was stunned to place at all.

I'll take an edc.

Crap..........
