So amongst other tools I have a 14 inch wood cutting bandsaw that I purchased from Grizzly back in 2001 or so. Last night I was out in the shop working and I turned on the bandsaw to cut some wood and CRUNCH! Something hung in the machine and stopped the motor. I hurriedly shut the machine off and opened up the case. To my chagrin I discovered that one of the polyurethane tires that sits on the bandsaw wheels had come apart. I pulled it out of there but now my saw was inoperable. This I thought to myself was going to be a royal pain. I mean what are the chances that I can get parts for a 10 year old saw? I got online and looked at the Grizzly catalogue. They have the equivalent saw (newer model) still so I thought I would see if the tires from that model would fit my saw. I gave them a ring this morning. I talked to the technical service guy and he said "oh we have parts for our old machines what do you need?" I told him and before I could even tell him the part number he told me what it was. Then he said that yes they had those in stock. While he was getting my credit card information I asked him if there were any tricks to putting the new tires on. It turns out that not only was there a trick (apparently you boil them first to stretch them out then let them cool on the machine for 12 hours) but he knew exactly what it was and explained it. Awesome.

I'm very impressed with the knowledge and can do attitude that these guys have!
