I don’t recall seeing a thread dedicated to Delrin, or other similar plastics. So, I thought that it might be fun to see some all in one place. I’ll start it off with today’s carry, a Camillus made stockman, with the Sword Brand shield. I believe that these were made sometime from the later part of the 70’s through 1988, based on the tang stamp. IMG_8179.jpegIMG_8180.jpeg
 
I've posted this knife many times before. But, there is no knife that means more to me. The sentimental value and memories shared surrounding this knife cannot be matched.

Seller's description says my 1980 date code Western 062 Folding Hunter has Delrin covers.

I think my pre-1977 Western 742 Stockman is Delrin, since the jigging and coloration is identical to the 062.

(No date code, which started in 1977, with the letter "A".)

I "know" my (pre-Last Days?) 8OT, and 1978 to 1984 858 (no "OT" in the tang stamp, so it was probably made in the first 2 or 3 years of production, from what I've been told by Schrade Guru's.) have Delrin.

I have a question:

Do you want only pre-2004 Vintage Delrin, or are post bankruptcy offshore Uncle Henry Staglon, and Old Timer's saw cut Delrin also welcome?
What about pre bankruptcy Camillus Contract knives with Staglon covers?

If vintage only, I don't want to insult/offend by posting offshore knives. 😇👍
