Betcha Jake's got something up his sleeve. :)

Are there any other chickens that need to come home to roost?
I used to write Rusty and say, "Look what I've done; you're going to have to ban me now."

He always said, 'no'.

I don't really know why. If I had to guess it would be because I was always willing to talk- to work it out on these pages. I did not then and do not now like it when mistakes or bad portraits hurt people. We come together.

Well, I've been out of the loop. Don't know him or what happened, but if he was OK with you guys, I'm sure he would have been OK with me. Sorry to hear it too.

Hello Everybody!!!

This is my first post since being banned. It was unpleasant, but I will leave it at that.

While I was away I received e-mails from a number of you that really meant alot. Then a really nice moderator from this forum went out of his way to help and get me reinstated. His name is Howard Wallace.

I don't know if he could have done it without all the support I've read in this thread. I just don't know what to say. I am a better person for having been fortunate enough to make so many friends here. Thank you all very much and thank you, Howard. This forum goes way beyond knives.

It's good to be back and my flu is going away!

Steve, Keep hydrated and well rested. In other words, drink lots of fluids and stay in bed and keep warm. When you finally feel better, stay in bed and drink lots of fluids for an extra day.
Where do I send my bill?
:D

Hey! Welcome back! Your name looks a helluva lot better without that nasty old "banned" thing underneath it!

In your absence, I did take a bit of your advice on finishing a handle on a knife. finished a piece of walnut with the 1500 grit, and I've put about thirty coats of tung oil on it. Man it's purty! hurts to look at it's so shiny! Thanks for the tip!

Lookin' forward to your continued presence!

Demand to see a scar Howard...

Wait...wrong thread.

Welcome back Steve...now stay here in the Cantina where you're safe.

Welcome back Steve:thumbup:

I think the Cantina is like Munk's small town...people get into a dust up, things get worked out and they come back. People nod when they see you around again. Then it's business as usual.
