It 'a very interesting test Mr. Farid. I have a question on 2 types of steel that you use: CPM 10V and CPM REX-121. In your opinion, what is the best steel for strength of the board. What is more able to sharpen a razor with more satisfaction in pure cut. Thanks for the attention you dedicate to me.

Terrific knife! Bravo! I'm sorry, Mr.Farid please tell me how to contact you? Thank you.
I am unable to pm or email you, please post your email on here and I will email you later.
take care
Can I ask, are these made for those chopping competitions I've heard of? I watched a clip of one on youtube and everybody seemed to be using a knife of same basic blade style similar to this. Just curious.

Hi Farid,
The REX-121 edge is currently at 68-70 HRC.
What would be the hardness on 10V edge for the one you made?
Dago Red,

Can't tell you how much I want one of these choppers out of a super steel.
Just plain awesome.
Keep up the good work.
Hopefully, in the near future, there will be thinner stock available in this steel, so the knives can be made with out taking out a second mortgage to pay for all the belts you burn through making one.
People who have never priced the belts have no idea. The cost can really add up!
Not to mention the time and energy it takes to do all that hogging!
You need a cnc machine with diamond bits to speed up the grinding!
Too bad I don't work where I used to. All kinds of equipment there for machining diamond drill bits. We had a lapping machine that would have been able to take that thickness down for you without much work. (I worked for years at a plant that manufactured polycrystalline diamond drill bits for oil and natural gas drilling, mining etc)
