I see he uses holes for the lock-bar relief, instead of pockets; the Damascus blade K2 that's easier to open has the largest relief of the three... I'm sure other makers have done something similar, but I haven't noticed. Is it supposed to make for a stronger lock-up? It looked like too much material was gone at first, but up close I realized the chamfering made them look larger. Some (most?) framelocks using the pockets take more titanium, no doubt.
