Yeah bought a house, student loan payments now, just had dental work done. I didn't piss and moan at you for taking 2 years to fill your orders. Don't bitch to me that folks aren't still waiting cash in hand two years later. Honestly forgot all about this it had been so long.
 
No deposit. But knives are near done, week or two out now.. Shipping in April.

Cost is $550 Paypal regular to Farid Mehr. He will contact you with Paypal addy.

I might have to sell my SPyderco K2... or beat the snot out of it... :D
 
I had a Mini K2 and I've regretted selling it ever since the day it shipped off.
This one will more than make up for it

I'm still struggling to break the REX121 K2s...they're built solid, I'll say that much.

Farid, I really dig your knives. Bad timing for me on this round but if you have plans to do a round of mini K2's, count me in. I have no issue with a deposit, time and materials cost. Best of luck with the new shop.

All I have to say is... I'm stoked. I've never owned or used a large folder in my life. I'll finally be able to clip a knife to my pocket. Simple idea, but elegant.

Hello Chris, here are some pics, just a few more days, setting of the lock, D tent and beadblasting.
I have added couple of features at no extra charge which was not on the original spec, lock stop screw on the lock bar and also the option of tip up as well as tip down carry.

One question then, with the tip up/tip down option, will there be "filler tabs" for that unused section? If not, will you consider making one?

Otherwise looks good!

Oh, and I think the lock bar screw is a good idea.

You are almost there, I know you see the end of the tunnel now, time for more coffee! :D

I also look forward to seeing other projects, some fixed blades, and one-offs of either fixed or folders.

I am going to EDC this big boy for a few months. I have the Spyderco 10v K2 in my pocket today.. it took a little nick out of a finger due to opening it too close to my other hand.. (dumb)
 
Hi Chris, sorry no filler tab. It is something which I may offer in the future. At some stage I would like to offer a small K2 fixed blade.
